I have had approximately 10 concussions, mostly affecting my prefrontal cortex, throughout my life. I believe these traumatic brain injuries have contributed to my anxiety and major depressive disorder.
I have tried various traditional antidepressant and anxiety medications, which have provided some relief but never fully alleviated my symptoms of dread, hopelessness, and constant feelings of panic. In addition to medications, I have also explored other treatments, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy and ketamine therapy.
In addition to conventional treatments, I have tried a wide range of novel compounds, such as Cerebrolysin, Metformin, Tenoten, Rortexin, Idebenone, Topiramate, Alpha-GPC, NAD+, NAC, Racetams, KAVA, and Kratom. Some of these have been greatly effective, while others have not been as helpful. You can find my video reviews of these compounds.
